About Us

Natema project brings together different extrems of electronic music combined with Brazilian folk rythms.
Making use of exotic instruments like the alfaia, berimbau and the pandeiro (brazilian tambourine) plus accordion, guitar and bass guitar together with laptops, moogies and synths in an extremely vesatile live act.
The project was born in 2006 at the festivals in the Brazilian savannah (cerrado)

“The spooky, exotic music of Natema has a pulsing electronic beat that never dies, complete with sporadic interjections of brief, riveting vocals to make sure the worldly jam session never stops”.

Review by House Connextion – Uk

“Absolutely fantastic. Loving the combo of electronic music and various instruments of south american folk sounds that gives Natema its unique quality within their performances. Great stuff.”
